Originally an alias for composer Chip Davis (pictured), Mannheim Steamroller found its biggest success in holiday music. With the 1984 release of “Mannheim Steamroller Christmas,” Davis won popular acclaim with his modern contemporary interpretations of Yuletide favorites. During the past 30 years, Davis’ group has become a staple of the holidays with its signature sound of classical meets modern rock. With the release of its newest album, “Christmas Symphony” — the group’s 12th holiday collection — Mannheim Steamroller will show off its holiday spirit at the Landmark Theater on Saturday, Nov. 26, at 8 p.m. $37-$68.
