Man of Few Words

Scott McLaughlin, former director of marketing for the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce, is now a freelance marketing director. He was having coffee near Virginia Commonwealth University when he spotted our contest and decided to have some fun. We tip our hats to him for using the most objects and unabashedly referencing the contest sponsors in fewer than 100 words:

Another February 14 was in the books1. Not the museum kind of history, rather his story. Two revolving2 lives shooting through the night. An opera best seen through the lenses3 of a glass house. The dashing colonel
running at the drop of a hat4 to see his doll5. She cut like a knife in purple pumps6 and blue feathers7. Carving8 the wanting planes of his mind. A weekly drop-in to say hey, I like your style. A knowing glance followed by a brief nod.
