With more than 20 years as a comedy writer and stand-up comedian, Louis C.K. has been called one of the most honest comedians of our time. His act contains a mix of personal observations on pop and social culture, world media and life in general. C.K. serves as star, executive producer, writer and director of the FX hit series “Louie,” for which he recently received Emmy nominations for lead actor in a comedy and outstanding writing in a comedy series. His credits include writing for “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” and “The Chris Rock Show,” as well as starring in NBC’s “Parks & Recreation” and HBO’s “Lucky Louie.” Expect to be doubled over with laughter and an embarrassed groan when Louis C.K. performs at Richmond CenterStage on Thursday, Oct. 20, at 7:30 p.m. $35-$45. 592-3400.
