The music of Richmond folk trio Lobo Marino has more going on than just folk. There are bits of rock and soul and a little bit of artistic insanity too. After its breakout first album, “Keep Your Head Up,” brought its name in Richmond’s music circles, the band left and has been touring the country for the past six months. Returning home to play for a crowd of fans and friends, Lobo Marino performs at the Firehouse Theatre on Thursday, July 28, at 7:30 p.m. Free. thefoundryrva.wordpress.com.
