After finding her brother’s old guitar and discovering her love of songwriting, Richmond native Liza Bance found her path in life. She attended Berklee College of Music in Boston and has been creating original bluegrass and country music ever since. Her songs are fun and energetic, and the stories they tell are insightful, personal and sometimes painful. Liza Bance celebrates the release of her new disc, “Mansions in the Sky,” with a party at Capital Ale House on Sunday, Jan. 29, at 8 p.m. $8. 780-2537.
