Living Things at the Canal Club

There was clearly something behind the moment when Lillian Berlin's parents gave him his name. Perhaps they foresaw the irony that would inevitably come when their little boy, together with his two brothers (named Eve and Bosh) would rally around one another and form a rebellious rock band steeped in the gritty fervor and no-nonsense arrangements of the Ramones and Iggy Pop. Marching to Richmond behind their latest album, “Habeas Corpus,” and the stomping turbulence of the single, “Let It Rain,” Living Things play the Canal Club with Electric Six and Hot Lava Tuesday, April 28, at 8 p.m. $10-$13. 1545 E. Cary St. 643-2582. — Mike Hilleary
