LETTER: The Martin Man Offers Lift, Insight

I've long been a fan of the reporting in Style, and find it often more insightful than the daily paper on local news matters. Case in point has been some excellent articles on details of the ballpark controversy. But I write to say great job on "The Martin Man" by Melissa Scott Sinclair. It was fascinating and uplifting, and a terrific job of a community person profile about someone whose passion has made a difference for us all. It would have been reflexively easy to choose not to publish what some might have said was too narrow, soft or untopical. You chose to green light a jewel of an article. Keep up the good work.
