Letter: A Local Artist’s Legacy

I want to tell you how terrific your article about Cindy Neuschwander and her work was and how impressed I am that you were so insightful, sensitive and observant. It was both emotional and joyful for me — a person who knew Cindy when she still lived above the American Opinion Bookstore and was painting wooden bowls — to see such wonderful coverage for her. As you know, she was and is loved and admired by so many people. She was one of those rare — and true — artists at the core of her being.
