Knockin' Freakin' Thrustin' and Ridin'

The R&B of the '90s was full of sex -- gyrating, thrusting, begging and whining. Songs with poetic titles such as "Freak Me," "Do You Wanna Ride?" "Knockin' da Boots," "Sex Me" and "Touch Me, Tease Me" were hits pumped out during this period from four of the hottest acts of the moment — Silk, H-Town, Adina Howard, Shai and Case. These window-steamers are taking us back to that hot and horny decade with the Lose Control Tour at the Landmark Theater. Here's hoping that Silk doesn't deteriorate from the sudden exposure to light Thursday, Nov. 1, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $35. 646-4213.
