While there have been a few behind-the-scenes hiccups with this year's Groovin' in the Garden — some late filing of festival permits and key performers Jakob Dylan, Neko Case and Kelly Hogan canceling their May 20 gig — Richmond's floral-themed music series is getting some much needed support from fellow park Maymont. Helping administer this temporary transition is Virginia native Keller Williams. Featuring his custom Gibson Echoplex looping unit to help him turn a simple riff into a multilayered composition, Williams is scheduled to perform at the temporarily relocated Groovin' in the Garden on Thursday, May 13, at 6 p.m. $20. 262-9887.
