>Though there's still a great amount of reverence in the way members of Bob Marley's backing band the Wailers approach their various incarnations, it makes more sense for someone looking to grasp the contemporary spirit of the legendary reggae artist to listen to the work of his sons. Each a respected solo artist in his own right, Ziggy, Stephen, Julian and Damien Marley consistently collaborate with one another in some capacity, modernizing their genre while letting their hereditary lineage keep them grounded in their traditions.
