With a voice that’s reminiscent of James Brown, blues singer John Németh has been reinvigorating vintage R&B for years, honing a style that’s both new and compelling. His latest album, “Name the Day,” is full of blues, soul and other sounds influenced by the greats of the past, and his live performance is full of nonstop energy, barely contained. John Németh plays Shenangians on Wednesday, Oct. 26, at 8 p.m. 264-5010.
