Jim Brickman at Landmark Theater

Like the quiet tones of his new age tracks, Jim Brickman has built a devoted following without calling undue attention to himself. The mellow pianist has six gold- and platinum-selling albums and his releases routinely debut at No. 1 on Billboard magazine's New Age chart. Brickman also does about 125 shows a year and recently sold out a cruise ship. His latest release, "Homecoming," is a collection of "Brickmanized" holiday songs, featuring a collaboration with the late Gerald Levert, a former high school classmate. The Brickmanization continues at the Landmark Theater Friday, Dec. 7, at 7:30 p.m. with Richie McDonald. Tickets are $38-$75. Call 262-8100 or visit www.ticketmaster.com.
