Born and raised in Lynchburg and living in Richmond, singer and songwriter Jared Jones captures his audience with tracks full of pop and R&B flavors, which channel the likes of artists such as Steve Wonder. He studied creative writing at Virginia Commonwealth University, which only strengthened his work as a songwriter as he dove head-first into a music career. Jones and his band Lust Not Love have graced many Richmond stages, including the National, Brown’s Island, the Camel and others, quickly developing a strong fan base.
