It’s No Secret, They Can Sing

While not as old as Yale’s other well-known club — the ritual-based secret society the Order of Skull and Bones, which produces world leaders and inspires bad movies — The Yale Alley Cats have been around since 1943. The vocal group features students from the esteemed university, creating a rotating lineup like Menudo, with less melanin. While the group hasn’t produced a Ricky Martin or a corrupt dictator, it’s established a reputation for watertight harmonies, energetic performances and a sense of humor. The collegiate a cappella group brings its vocal blends to St. Christopher’s School Thursday, Jan. 10, at 7:30 p.m. Free. 282-3185.
