They and many others contributed work to the show. The idea for it came during an earlier show at Sweetwater, when Holloway commented on a circular painting done on the back of a salad bowl. Her idea for a whole show of circular works quickly turned into a headache of frustrations for the artists who jumped onboard, she says. But the compositional challenges eventually brought out a lot of creativity. The results are currently on view, scheduled through March.
