Shortly after his release from detention, Joshua Dunkle joined the Richmond Outreach Center's mixed martial arts program.

Photographer's note: There's a certain vulnerability to Joshua that comes though in this image. The tattoos and tough exterior are softened by the arms at his chest (which is simply a martial arts exercise) but suggests more.
