Members of local goth-rock band Bella Morte, your friendly pub bartenders, and other creatures of the night will strut their stuff on the catwalk at Alley Katz this Thursday (Nov. 7) to help raise money and canned goods for the Central Virginia Food Bank during "Packaged Goods." The event will showcase a variety of alternative clothing and music from KultureClothing, Medusa, Adonis and local alternative-clothing store Asylum, who is putting on this event. "Our goal is to raise 1,000 pounds of nonperishable food," says Dayna Cobb, owner of Asylum. The event is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. with a reception and cash bar; fashion show will begin at 10:30 p.m. Monetary and nonperishable food donations are requested.
