Alt-country rock band Horsehead has been a fixture on the local Richmond music scene, but it was the band’s 2010 full-length, “Before the Bright Lights,” that won it a big following. It also spawned a side project called the Dimmer Twins, which features members Jon Brown and Kevin Wade Inge playing acoustic numbers. During the last year, the band has been in the studio recording its fourth full-length record, “Sympathetic Vibrations.” That record is now seeing the light of day thanks to the band’s fans, who raised more than $2,500 on Kickstarter. Horsehead celebrates the release of “Sympathetic Vibrations” at Gallery5 with Grease Trigger and Matt Conner on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 8 p.m. $7. gallery5arts.org.
