Hipster Take Note: Midwifery Available

I enjoyed reading "Hipster's Dilemma" (Arts & Culture, April 9). However, I wanted to point out to Sam Beam, who says he'd move his family here to Virginia if midwifery were legal in this state, that the General Assembly enacted a law in 2005 that made certified professional midwives a safe and rewarding option for women and families in the commonwealth. I'd like to let Mr. Beam know that if he'd like to learn more or find a midwife in Virginia, he can go to www.commonwealthmidwives.org. And I also know a good Realtor.
