Hells/Bells at the National

With the release of “Black Ice,” AC/DC's first record in eight years, it would be easy to assume that any renewed interest — or devoted love that never went away — in the no-frills rock band has trickled down rather nicely to the group's legion of tribute bands. For the Nashville-based loyalists, Hells/Bells, the unofficial mission statement is to give the closest Angus-kicking experience possible to anyone who couldn't get a ticket for the real deal fast enough. Complete with pyrotechnics and the distinct possibility of firing cannons, Hells/Bells plays the National on Saturday, Dec. 20, at 7 p.m. $13. 612-1900. — Mike Hilleary
