We have eaten many of the offerings at Spoon Bread and were always served most delicious meals. That's why it's now our favorite place to dine.
To respond to the above diner, Chef Hall's dishes are NOT overwhelmed with butter, (although for me, butter makes it better). Dishes are seasoned perfectly.
Other delicious dishes we have enjoyed but not mentioned are the crab bisque, frogmore stew, my husband's favorite, and the smoked duck under glass. Yummmm. Crab cakes are all crab meat.
Desserts are sooo good too.
We appreciate good wine, and Spoon Bread's list has lots of great choices. We happen to like Amarone, but most restaurants do not carry it; fortunately we can get a great one at Spoon Bread.
Sorry, didn't mean to go on so much, but we are so glad to have discovered Spoon Bread Bistro.

So many wonderful places to dine in Richmond.
You can eat out every day of the year.
And I can't wait for Chef Michael Hall's new restaurant "Spoonbread", to open. It's at the corner of Floyd and Robinson.
