Gym Class Heroes at Roller Dome

No corporate plug too bizarre, upstate New York's pop punk rappers Gym Class Heroes took home the Best New Artist trophy from the MTV Video Music Awards in 2007, then created an eponymous breakfast at Denny's — Texas toast, hash browns, and a fried egg — for a rock star promotion this year. Catch the act at Richmond's Roller Dome celebrating the release of the Adult Swim cartoon “Robot Chicken's” latest DVD compilation. Featuring plenty of party appropriate tunes to appease the crowd, the entire night's events are free starting at 8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 10. 4902 Williamsburg Road. 726-2841. — Mike Hilleary
