Regarding “Mayoral Candidate Lands Support of Key Hipster” (Street Talk, Sept. 24), the story was really about the local business elite finding creative new ways to funnel money into this man [Robert] Grey's campaign.
Someone should tell these rich county people there's no need to launder the cash through their kids — Virginia doesn't have campaign contribution limits. Both this boy Adam's dad and Bob Grey are Gang of 26ers, and the more cash they amass, the less I trust them. I'm not voting for some rich guy whose platform is taking away my School Board vote.
