If it's fair to assume that Atlanta-based band Gold-Bears take their name from the delicious gummy candy of the same name, then it comes as little surprise when you hear the quartet's audible, twee sweetness. Delivering the kind of catchy, fuzzy, strummy garage songs akin to the Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Gold-Bears crash through their short pop gems with spastic, jangly enthusiasm. Recently releasing their debut full-length "Are You Falling in Love?" Gold-Bears are scheduled to perform at Steady Sounds Record Store on Saturday, May 21, at 7 p.m. Free. 308-2692.
