Growing up in the Midwest, female hip-hop and pop duo God-Des & She quickly went from playing small clubs to packed larger venues around the world ever since the duo’s energetic music first appeared on Showtime’s television series, “The L Word.” The exposure led to the two’s selling more than 30,000 albums, holding down the top spot on MTV Logo for 15 weeks with their song “Love You Better” and performing with mainstream favorite Sia and hip-hop icons Salt N’ Pepa. God-Des & She are finishing up their fourth full-length album, due out later in 2012. The lead single, “You Know My Name,” already has generated some buzz with its message of giving the middle finger to the snotty people of the world.
