For more than five years, Richmond's Ghost of Pop Festival has served as a makeshift support group session among the commonwealth capital's pop-rock community. Founded by local music fixture Prabir Mehta, this annual showcase at Gallery5 is the city's best argument for indie-scene credibility. Featuring performances by newcomers and stalwarts alike, including Young Adult Fiction, Orioles, Rocktopussy, the Trillions, Fuzzy Baby (pictured), Prabir/Goldrush, and David Shultz and the Skyline, Ghost of Pop 6 kicks off at Gallery5 on Saturday, Dec. 11, at 7:30 p.m. $5.
