Foo Fighters show announced for National, Sept. 17 

The email has gone out from the crowd sourcing organizers of the Foo Fighters show in Richmond -- if you helped them raise money, you're in luck. The show will be held Wednesday, Sept. 17 at the National.

From the e-mail:

"We are psyched to let you know the show has been confirmed for Wednesday, September 17th at the National Theater. Please read below on how to pick up your wristband to the event. *Please note – your credit card has NOT been charged yet, it will be charged when you and your guests check in at the National Box Office*


The National Box office (708 E. Broad Street) will be open from 10:00am-5:30pm on Sept. 17th to process payments and distribute wristbands.

You must pick up your wristbands within these times.

To purchase your wristband, you must got to The National Box Office (708 E. Broad Street) any time between 10 am and 5:30 pm in person, with valid photo ID, and your credit card. If you purchased more than (1) ticket, your “guests” must also be with you in person.

The National will run your credit card for the purchase and wristband you & your guests on the spot. Your wristband will be your ticket to the show. There will be no reissues of wristbands. No hard tickets will be distributed.

This event is open to all ages.

Wristbands are NON TRANSFERABLE. No exceptions will be made. If you are unable to attend the show, please reply to this email no later than Sept. 12th at 5:00pm local time, so your tickets can be reallocated.

No professional cameras will be allowed.

Lineup for entry into The National will not be permitted until after 5:30 pm. The doors will open at 7:00pm. Exact show time is to be determined.
