The Capital City Kwanzaa Festival is a holiday you can dance to.

Workshops for dance and art, an African marketplace and food tastings highlight aspects of the African experience, designed to make people "feel good and feel enriched, and in many ways transformed," Bell says. The festival happens Thursday, Dec. 30, 6 p.m.-2 a.m. Admission is $5-$6. For more information call 644-3900. — Brandon Reynolds
