Film Critic Needs a Sense of Humor

I'd say your reviewer of "Ocean's Thirteen" missed the boat and fell off the pier into some scummy water and could barely stay afloat ("Unlucky Number," News & Features, June 13). At the very least, he has absolutely no sense of humor.

I'd nominate this one for funniest movie of the year done in style! It was uproarious, and yes, maybe all done for laughs. There's nothing better for the human psyche than that. But the plot was well thought-out and everything tied together at the end. These boys had to don disguises because they knew they were known. The heist was elaborate, because that's the way they do things. They're the best! And they're cool, yes, very cool. I thought Pitt's role was even less obvious than Pacino, who I thought appeared to be enjoying himself immensely.

No, nothing goes to waste in this movie, especially not the viewer's time.
