Fighting Gravity (and Hunger!)

The band is helping out the Central Virginia Food Bank by offering free copies of its 1997 holiday album, "Bobsled," to anyone who brings in a can of beets or, hopefully, some better-tasting canned food. Tickets are $10 in advance (at Plan 9) or $12 at the door. Fighting Gravity will also be on Q94's "Surf's Up in the Morning" program Wednesday (Nov. 27) at 8 for an interview and performance. — wayne melton
