Central Virginia Celtic Festival and Highland Games
Um, let me see, what should I do this weekend? I do like fermented beverages so maybe I could go to Richmond Oktoberfest at Richmond International Speedway on Friday and Powhatan’s 11th annual Festival of the Grape on Saturday at the Powhatan Historic Courthouse Square. Then again, there’s the opening night bratwursts and homemade German cuisine of St. John’s Oktoberfest at St. John’s United Church of Christ. Or if I go to Oktoberfest at Richmond International Raceway on Saturday, I also could wander over to check out the British car show, blacksmithing and whiskey tasting at the Central Virginia Celtic Festival and Highland Games. But then there’s Brett Eldredge headlining the Country on Mayo Music Festival on Mayo Island too. Planning out weekend activities isn’t supposed to be work. I think maybe I’ll just flip a coin.
