Father Matters 

When: Wednesdays, 6-7:30 p.m. Continues through July 5
The Chesterfield County Fatherhood Initiative and the Department of Mental Health Support Services are offering a new program called Father Matters. Sessions will be held every Wednesday, and to graduate, participants are required to attend all 13. There is no cost to attend and this program is open to all fathers, including expecting fathers and fathers of adult children. Topics discussed will include being a positive role model for your children, goals and barriers for success, adventures and challenges of parenting, child development and communication, relationships and co-parenting, and legal issues.
