Local rock outfit Farm Vegas merges elements of rock, soul, Americana and blues to harvest a classic sound that’s evident in every note it plays. The band is well known for its high-energy live shows (especially after two sold-out Christmas shows last year that featured numerous guests on stage, glow sticks and fistfights). The band is ready to do it again with the second annual Farm Vegas Christmas Jam. This time around, it falls on the last day of the Mayan calendar, so expect a whole new bag of tricks. The Farm Vegas End of the World Christmas Jam takes place on Friday, Dec. 21, at 8 p.m. $7. thecamel.org.
