We love our festivals in Richmond so much we need smaller versions of larger events to hold us over. The Mini Greek Festival, taking place Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 12-14, at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral, is the midfall version of the annual spring shebang. Given the abundance of food, ferments, performances, shopping opportunities and creative showcases, this isn’t truly a mini festival. It’s a honing of party skills. The second helping this year of the family-friendly festivities can be summed up in the words of Greek philosopher Aristotle: “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” vagocathedral.org.
