With the weather finally starting to feel like winter, one of my favorite activities to combat the cold is eating. You can get your serious eat on at the Jewish Food Festival taking place Sunday and Monday, Jan. 17 and 18, at the Weinstein Jewish Community Center. Not only will you be able to sample a wide variety of centuries-old Jewish cuisine, there will be vendors, raffles and live music by My Son the Doctor, Naqshon’s Leap, Klezm’Or’Ami’m and other Yiddish music makers to add to the merriment. The feast of cultural seasonings runs from 11:30 a.m.-7 p.m. on both days. Call 288-7953 or visit richmondjewishfoodfestival.com or weinsteinjcc.org.
