Breast cancer is every woman’s nightmare. Despite continuing advancements, breast cancer remains the second-leading cause of death among women. The fifth annual Fall BRAzaar fights the good fight against the disease Saturday, Oct. 10, at Steel Horse Harley Davidson. The daylong fundraising festivities for the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation entertain with a vendor market, demonstrations by students from Martial Arts World of Chesterfield and Richmond hula-hoop enthusiasts RVA Hoop Lovers. Plus, there’s live music by the Fair Game Band, Nobody’s Poet, Rich Moore and the Blue Rooster Band. Health care professionals, cancer care agencies, support groups, and holistic and nutrition experts provide the education. Sponsored by the Bon Air Junior Women’s Club in memory of breast cancer victim Denys Musselman, the party with a purpose takes place 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Free admission. fallbrazaar.com.
