St. Benedict Oktober Fest

Everybody I know who likes polka music has proven to be someone I trust. It’s a polarizing sound, but combined with some bratwursts, beer and dancing, it’s really easy music to like. There will be three days of free Germen festivity at the 11th annual St. Benedict Oktoberfest from Friday to Sunday, Sept. 18-20. You’ll hear the polkas, waltzes and potpourris of the Richmond-based Original Elbe-Musikanten German Band and others in the cultural immersion.
