I don’t think the rise of craft breweries in Richmond and the decline of City Hall’s basic accounting skills are coincidence. The more alcohol is consumed, the more mathematical abilities diminish. One thing’s for sure: Mayor Dwight Jones has given Richmond taxpayers more than ample reason to want a drink. Want another? On Saturday, Sept. 26, Isley Brewing Co. will hold its first annual Fall Fest. The free outdoor event features specialty infusion brews, artisan and craft vendors, food offerings from Bo Dillaz, Hard Pressed and Buz and Ned’s Real Barbecue, and performances by Sheldon Young, Acoustic Couch, Andrew Ali and the Mainline and the Royal We. The daylong festivities run noon-10 p.m. Call 716-2132 or visit isleybrewingcompany.com.
