It’s gotten to the point that I assume every new place I see opening is a craft brewery. Given the ever-growing abundance of artisan alcoholic beverage companies that have set up shop in our abode, who can blame me? On Saturday, June 25, Ardent Craft Ales celebrates two years of beer-making in Richmond with a block party at its location in Scott’s Addition. The daytime, fermented festivities will feature 16 creations made by the party’s hosts as well as sudsy offerings from a handpicked selection of guest brewers. Food will be supplied by an assortment of local food trucks, and Richmond groups the Ar-Kaics, White Laces, Sports Bar, ImpCon and Gull will provide the soundtrack to the outdoor fun at 2 p.m. Runs 1-8 p.m., free. Call 359-1605 or visit ardentcraftales.com.
