Tired of those indoor, winter blues? There’s a way to get your St. Patrick’s Day on nearly a full week early at Shamrock the Block. The 14th annual celebration comes to the Boulevard between Leigh and Broad streets on Saturday, March 11. The outdoor event is free, with attendance having grown to more than 20,000. Plenty of food and drinks will be on hand along with music from ’80s party band Totally Random and the mixture of classic genres known as redneck pool party.
