Do you have a wall that needs a painting? Are you looking for a unique gift for Mother’s Day? Do you simply want to look at art in the great outdoors? If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, you’re in luck. Arts in the Park will take over Byrd Park this weekend. In its 45th year, the annual outdoor art extravaganza will feature juried creations by more than 450 local, regional and national artists for your consumer consideration. To complement all the eye candies, there will be food, drinks, performances and some of best people-watching to be had within city limits. Sponsored by the Carillon Civic Association, the bonanza of artistic expressions takes place Saturday, April 30, from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday, May 1, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Free. Call 358-2711 or visit richmondartsinthepark.com.
