He was dreamy, no doubt. Or was the profile that appeared on Match.com of jfrench39, accompanied by pictures of developer Justin French, just a dream?

The profile no longer appears on the dating website, but earlier this month the image of French included 16 pictures and a detailed summary of jfrench39's wants and desires. The developer faces multiple felony counts of forgery and presenting false documents as part of wide-ranging investigation into his use of state historic tax credits.

“Looking for a cinematic adventure: Comedy or action, but please … no drama :),” the profile read. Jfrench39 was described as a 40-year-old man who is “currently separated” and with a body type that is “athletic and toned.”

Style Weekly was unable to confirm if French himself posted the profile or if it were fake. His attorney, W.R. “Bill” Baldwin, declines to comment. Calls to Match.com weren't returned by deadline.

In its terms of use, Match.com says that it “does not in any way screen its Members,” “inquire into their backgrounds” or “attempt to verify the statements of its Members.” Match.com also forbids its users from impersonating any person.

As for the profile of jfrench39, it seemed fairly tame. Jfrench39 listed interests that included book clubs, coffee and conversation, and “nightclubs/dancing.” The profile lists income of more than $150,000, and political leanings that are “middle of the road.”

“I am kind, generous, witty, adventurous, successful and driven,” the profile read. “I am looking for someone I can enjoy spending time with that appreciates the finer things in life … someone that is about growing and improving themselves, and is still humble enough to care about others.”

The real-world French is married with two children and scheduled to appear in Richmond General District Court on Jan. 25.
