As old friends who met on a college swim team, five Southern women get together every August in North Carolina’s Outer Banks — family-free. “Dixie Swim Club” follows four of those weekends, which bond the women during the course of 33 years. Swift Creek Mill Theatre premieres the comedic tale, written by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten, on Thursday, June 26. Directed by Tom Width, the play stars the water-bound Joy Williams, Jody Strickler, Georgia Rogers Farmer, Jacqueline Jones and Jennifer Frank Clevenger. Watch for the undercurrent. “Dixie Swim Club” runs June 26-Aug. 2, with shows Thursday-Saturday at 8 p.m. For tickets and information call 748-5203 or visit swiftcreekmill.com.
