But Devil's Workshop horn player Bob Miller says it's an experimental outfit which owes more to Mingus than to "Moonlight Serenade." The group plays every Monday night at Bogart's, and this week they bring a post-recording session to the Bottom Line on Thursday (May 23). "I think it will be pretty fresh," Miller says, "you know, straight off the recording like that." 9 p.m. $6. —
