Darryl Starr at Gallery A

Saturday, Oct. 6

For a glimpse of the New York art life, head to Gallery A in Shockoe Slip. This is the last weekend to get a look at Darryl Starr’s “The New York Years.” It’s a show of Starr’s striking wall paintings and sculptures completed before and after his recent return to Richmond after 15 years living and working in New York. His work has been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions and featured in permanent collections including Virginia Commonwealth University’s Anderson Gallery. “Darryl Starr: the New York Years” is on display until Saturday, Oct. 6, at Gallery A at 114 Virginia St. gallerya.biz.
