Wednesday, Nov. 3

Cutting his teeth on the comedy club circuit, Daniel Tosh lately has made quite a name for himself as the host of “Tosh.0,” a show that during its second-season run became the highest-rated unanimated show on Comedy Central, beating out “The Colbert Report” and “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.” Using the simple premise of a weekly roundup of the Web's best, worst and laughable YouTube videos, the show's plentiful source material is ripe for Tosh's spot-on quips and sarcasm. Taking some time away, Tosh is sharpening his stand-up act before the next season with his Tosh Tour Twenty Ten. He performs at the Carpenter Theatre at Richmond CenterStage on Wednesday, Nov. 3, at 7:30 p.m. $37.
