"We love violas," is the MySpace headline from the chamber pop group Dancer vs. Politician, and it comes across tenfold on its debut album, "A City Half-Lost." Led by songstress Sanni Baumgaertner, who sings in both in her native German and English, this nine-piece Athens, Ga., outfit uses all kinds of nonrockin' instrumentation in its sunny pop tunes. Accompanied by tambourines, glockenspiels, trumpets, and of course, violas, the group's trans-Atlantic charm can be seen at the Camel on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 9 p.m. $6. 353-4901.
