Giving their hometown audience a chance to pick up their latest collection of songs before the general public, Richmond natives Copper Sails give their new album, “Hiding Place,” a proper unveiling this week with a headlining performance at the National. Bringing anthem-reaching hooks to an indie-rock stage, the band will shoot a live music video during the release party to help build some much-needed exposure. The show kicks off Friday, Sept. 19, at 7 p.m. $10-$13. 612-1900.
