Josh Blue has a great outlook on life. How else do you explain someone with cerebral palsy deciding to become a professional stand-up comedian? Blue, the winner of the NBC's “Last Comic Standing” during its fourth season, is a master of self-deprecating humor, centering many of his jokes on his disability, how it affects his daily life and how people perceive him. Whether it's poking fun at the involuntary moment of his right arm pickpocketing his own wallet or the irony of being placed on the disabled list while playing for the U.S. Paralympic soccer team, Blue can laugh at himself to get a laugh out of an audience. He performs at the Funny Bone Friday, Aug. 21, through Sunday, Aug. 23. $20. 521-8900. — Mike Hilleary
